South Africa Day 10
Wow. The Leshiba Wilderness is hard to describe. Beautiful, rugged, magical, it covers 7,000 acres and sits on top of a 4,000 foot mountain plateau. Everything built on the land is handcrafted with incredible artistic beauty; the people are, in what seems to be in the tradition of this part of Africa, generous, humble, spirited and heart-felt; and the land is nothing short of majesty; not to mention they breed white rhinos.
It was a whirlwind day and a half visit here, with the most spectacular sunrise I've ever seen, a walk up to a rock wall displaying ancient bushman rock paintings, a special meeting of the lands horses and to top it off, listening and dancing to a local band, all of their instruments made by one of the members.
