Joshua Tree Revisited
After more than five years of not being able to be out on the road and taking in the beauty of this world, I was finally able to get away. The first place to go, being winter, was down the center of the state to the desert. One of my favorite places and spectacles is Joshua Tree National Park. The landscapes, the quiet, the fickleness of the high desert. I was free again, and though not quite up to my full physical abilities yet, that feeling is quite welcome in its majesty after having had to stay close to home for all these years. I've really had to relearn how to shoot, how the camera works, how to process, and all the work that goes into this particular art form. This is my coming out party and I've quite enjoyed the ride.
